استفاده از Get در ساختارهای مجهول (Using “GET” in Passive Constructions)

در بعضی مواقع در ساختارهای مجهول از فعل Get به جای فعل Be استفاده می‌شود. به یاد داشته باشید که استفاده از Get به نسبت Be غیررسمی‌تر است و بر اساس فرمول زیر ساخته می‌شود:

Get / Got + Past Participle

• Bikes get stolen in this town every day.
• My friend's bike got stolen yesterday.
• The windows get washed once a month.
• My laptop gets updated every week by the IT team.
• More and more items are getting recycled these days.
• This package got delivered today. I wonder what it is.
• I hope the air conditioning will get fixed soon.
• Did you know that the company was getting sold?
